The Project

Goal

Create a series of Hard Cider’s that could compete in the ready-to-drink cocktail category. 

Obstacles

Communicate the flexibility of this beverage while also communicating the value in its unique hard cider base. Allow for flavor expansions. Create a series of package designs that would be a welcome addition on our customers’ bar cart.

Solution

It all started with Paloma. Bringing back an easy crowd-pleaser and a classic cocktail by giving it a hard cider twist, we wanted this to feel fresh and clean emulating the canned cocktails starting to populate the shelves. 

While Paloma was our spring release, and proved the success of the series, Tropicolada was an instant follow up success. Using the Pina Colada flavor inspiration and a high end tiki bar aesthetic we framed this product as what James Bond would reach for on his vacation in Cabo.

Finally, to round off the series in the holiday season we created Mule de Pomme. Dubbed β€œApple Mule” in French this ginger and pomegranate hard cider packaging emulated a classic copper mule mug and the rich colors of the holiday season. 

Shake up your cocktail hour- at home. flaunting a mixable, drinkable, collection of curious profiles, Blake’s Bar Cart Series has arrived. Get creative, keep it classic or just pop the tab and pour.
